Mehreen Jussab is a businesswoman based in Blantyre, but originally from the United States. She has lived in Malawi for over 20 years and is actively involved with various NGOs, including Road to Relief. Mehreen’s passion for humanitarian work is an extension of a childhood lesson her mother taught her: lift those around you and share your fortunes.

Adnan Zulfiqar is an educator and attorney based in Philadelphia (USA). He spent his formative years in Lilongwe, where he fell in love with Malawi and its people. As a self-described “global nomad,” Adnan’s passion for humanitarian work is borderless and he is engaged with efforts worldwide, including in Syria, Yemen, Palestine, Pakistan and the United States.

Christopher Saizi is originally from Mangochi, but has been based in Blantyre for many years. He leads the relief aid distribution and home rebuilding projects for Banja Umodzi. Christopher’s passion for humanitarian work comes from giving back to his fellow citizens whose shoes he has walked in.
